Medium voltage aerial bundled cable consist of three stranded cable (phase) with one galvanized stranded wires in the middle of the cores.
The conductor material of medium voltage aerial bundled cable is aluminum. Medium voltage XLPE insulation with copper screen and finally HDPE over sheath are the components of these cables. On both sides of the insulation (below and above the insulation), extruded semiconductor materials have been used as conductor screen and insulation.
In fact, three layers extruded on the conductor (internal semiconductor + XLPE + external semiconductor) are produced simultaneously in the CCV line.
Messenger or cable holders are made of high carbon galvanized and stranded, which can be insulated or uninsulated at the customer's request.
The reference standard for the production of these cables is IEC 60502-2, in Iran.
